In the mids of 2006, Djokdja Batik & Handicraft was conceived in South Jakarta as a mini shop providing Batik Womenswear, Menswear, Kidswear and Home Accessories. Fast forward in November 2012, our main operation relocated to Jogjakarta and we shifted our primary product to batik handbag production. Also right at the same time, we launched our online shop.

We are proud to be based in Jogjakarta, a community with strong cultural legacy, and we also stand for the preservation of Indonesian Batik and the beauty of craftsmanship.

As we’ve been crafting and distributing our ideas and design with the local Jogja’s craftsmen, we are pleased to bring you a collection of bags that represent effortless, functional and modern style. We would like to offer you our choice of  many batik variations (Jogja, Pekalongan, Solo, Madura, Papua), Bali Woven fabrics, as well as Lurik ones combined with leathers and vinyls materials.

Our products have been featured in Monoco Japan, Tumbu Sapa, and Novica.
